Dubai is a city that has both a reputation for strict religious laws that might behead you for being a Christian, and the world’s tallest Christmas tree.

Despite religious differences, Christmas brings joy to many people all over the world, including those in nations with different beliefs. What is the joy of Christmas to you?

Christmas is the fulfilment of God’s promise, solemn pledge to his Son and to his people. This promise is central to many covenant promises made in the Bible. For example, the first promise after the Fall in Genesis 3:15 states that the seed of the woman will bruise the head of the serpent.

Jesus is the fulfillment of this promise, the seed who bruised the head of the serpent, and his birth is a significant event in human history.
