Text: Psalm 8:1–9.
This sermon is part of the Truth for Life quarterly seminar series, with the topic “What is man?”
Despite being just a speck in the vast expanse of the universe, humans hold inherent significance because we were created by God. The beauty and grandeur of creation, as recognised by the Psalmist, prompt reflection on humanity’s purpose and worth. The core message underscores that human significance derives from serving God and acknowledging His sovereignty. Without God, life lacks meaning and purpose. It is important to recognise our identity as creations of God, emphasising that true significance is bestowed upon us by our Creator. Ultimately, only by embracing our role as servants of God can we find our rightful place in the universe.
