Synopsis
Around AD 30, a Jewish man, looking every bit like every other Jewish man of his day, said these words, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6)
That man’s name is Jesus, and the Scriptures reveal him as the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Ever since that statement, His disciples have proclaimed his words to the world as the only way of their salvation. Many have pushed back on his exclusivity as the way to God. They claim that there are other ways to God.
Sadly, some of the pushback comes from those who claim to be his disciples. They advocate for a more inclusive religion that accommodates all means to God, citing “God is love” as their reason.
With all these ideas gaining steam, we are left to ask, “Is Jesus the only way to God?
